Wall Cabinet
This "Turning the Corner" wall cabinet combines scrap with new material to provide a storage powerhouse.

This wall cabinet was custom designed to not only be a storage powerhouse, but to use eco-friendly materials including new, scrap and reclaimed materials.

We chose to use Plyboo brand bamboo plywood for the bulk of the piece, along with scrap leftover pieces of laminate for the drawer fronts.  Note the oversized and deeper drawers:  these practical oversize drawers were customized to fit larger items and supplies.

The shelves that are designed to emphasize the structure of cantilevers–floating out above the base cabinet to provide lightness and a sense of weighlessness to counterpoint and balance such a large cabinet..
