The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is one of Africa's oldest and most revered wildlife charities. They are legendary for caring for and rehabiliting wildlife babies whose mothers have been murdered by poaching or hunting.

The SWT has now been in operation for 47 years. Every year they expand their incredible services for injured and beleaguered wildlife: 7 mobile veterinary clinics, an innovative Sky Vet program able to fly in to an animal crisis, over 30 anti-poaching teams, orphan animal care and rehabiliation, and community outreach to enable people and wildlife to coexist peacefully. They also have several incredible eco-lodges throughout Kenya where you can visit the orphans and see their amazing work in person.

SWT is a stunning testament to what one family started that could revolutionize their part of the world for both wildlife and people.

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is one of the oldest and best wildlife protection groups in Africa, and the world. This photo from SWT is used here via the Fair Use Doctrine for educational purposes.

A wildlife trust feature lands harder when it explains what a donation actually funds. Building a clip from a short video reference is what Reference to Video is set up around.
