We love outdoor spaces especially when they connect to indoor spaces seamlessly to bridge the interior with the exterior. For most of the year in our climate, porches are the nicest rooms in the house.
I especially love screen porches. This is a southern architectural archetype that is pure genius. I love the beauty and intricacy of insects and protect them by not spraying in my garden, and putting them outside when they come in the house. But I prefer not getting bitten, so screen porches are one of my absolute favorite things.
